Habitat for Humanity

“The Manitowoc Shady Grove team event supporting ‘Habitat for Humanity: Women Build’ event was an inspiring and rewarding experience. Our team came together with a shared goal of making a positive impact in our community, and we were able to do just that by helping to build a home. The sense of camaraderie and teamwork that we felt was great, putting in our best efforts to create safe and affordable housing. International Clean Up Day

Our employees and their families in the Philippines participated in International Coastal Cleanup Day in September. The annual event focuses on ecological preservation and protection of our oceans & marine biodiversity from waste and pollution. In partnership with the Department of Environment & Natural Resources (DENR) and other socio-civic groups, they helped clean up the coastal area and mangrove forest of Tanza Marine Tree Park which is being ravaged by typhoons and heavy monsoon rains.

Kids Building Wisconsin

“Organizing Kids Building Wisconsin was a team effort.  It was particularly rewarding for me as it provided an opportunity to create a joyful and memorable experience for young kids.  Seeing the smiles and excitement on their faces when they sat in the cab of a crane showcased the impact of positive engagement. It reinforces the importance of community involvement and fostering a sense of togetherness.”

Race Against Poverty

“This event was nothing short of amazing. Not only did our partnership go towards helping hundreds of families through Franklin and Adams County but being present there really showed people that Manitowoc is here for the community. Manitowoc Company Scholarship Program

Since its inception in 1989, The Manitowoc Company Scholarship Program has supported 1,006 students and has awarded nearly
$3 million in scholarships.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to qualify:

Child of active U.S. based employee
Cumulative GPA of 3.5 in High School or 3.0 in college
A completed Application
A letter from the applicant

Recipients annually receive a $1,500 scholarship for up to four years of undergraduate study at a North American college or university.

The 2023 class included 31 applicants, with 31 meeting the above criteria.

I am very proud of being a recipient of the Manitowoc Scholarship Award. The tuition assistance from the Manitowoc Company goes a long way to help me financially to pursue my interests in business at my university. While the rigorous curriculum at school challenges me intellectually and provides me with excellent technical skills, I look forward to continuing to learn valuable skills with future internship opportunities, preferably in the manufacturing industry.

The Manitowoc Foundation

Through the Manitowoc Foundation, the Company provides financial support to a broad array of U.S.-based charities, with a particular focus on the needs of children, education, and helping those who have experienced a natural disaster. In 2023, the Manitowoc foundation donated over $182,600 to charities in the communities where our team members live and work, and where we do business.
