To strengthen our culture and ensure we continue meeting the needs of our global workforce, Manitowoc remains committed to actively gathering employee feedback. Since launching our comprehensive engagement survey in 2022, we have taken a phased approach to listening to employees across all regions. The initial rollout began in Europe, expanded into the United States in 2023, and concluded globally in 2024, achieving a 64% participation rate with more than 3,000 responses and over 10,000 comments that provided valuable insights.
In 2025, we continued this important work by restarting the survey cycle and collecting feedback once again across our global operations. This year’s effort allowed us to deepen participation, reaffirm key focus areas, and measure progress against actions taken in prior cycles. We saw an increase in participation in 2025 compared to previous years and the feedback gathered continues to guide leaders at both the local and global level, helping us identify opportunities, strengthen our people‑focused initiatives, and ensure employees have an ongoing voice in shaping their workplace experience.
The insights from these surveys directly inform improvements across the organization, including communication strategies, site‑specific enhancements, and enterprise initiatives such as Onboarding Journeys, Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), Senior Leader Coffee Talks, and local appreciation events. As we move forward, we remain committed to using employee feedback to drive meaningful, lasting improvements that support engagement, inclusion, and long‑term organizational success.
