As a corporation with operations and suppliers worldwide, a commitment to human rights and dignity is embedded within all levels of our business. We reinforce this commitment through our policies, ongoing outreach initiatives, and trainings.  

At Manitowoc, we are building a culture of inclusion, expanding our diverse workforce, and are making strides to ensure an equitable workplace. 

Manitowoc is committed to increasing diversity among our workforce and leaders, with an emphasis on recognizing the talents of women candidates for placements, promotions, and internal assignments. We continue to enhance our outreach to local networks and agencies to ensure a diverse candidate population for future employment opportunities. For example, in 2022 we worked with local Hispanic

communities in the U.S. and helped individuals create and refine their resumes and assisted those looking for jobs.

In 2022, to increase gender diversity at all levels within our Company, the global human resources team prioritized inclusion of at least one qualified female candidate through the final interview stages. We have implemented diverse interview panels to ensure we have a representative group of candidates.

As stewards of our diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, our leadership team takes

a proactive approach to build and develop a diverse pipeline of talent. The Manitowoc Mentorship Program is designed to partner our high-performing, diverse talent with senior leadership team members.  The program was established to nurture talent and identify our future leaders from within the enterprise. The second wave of this Program is underway and is designed to accelerate the development of female leaders in the organization, increase retention, and create a strong pool of talent to take on more prominent roles in the future. In 2022, we expanded our Manitowoc Mentorship Program and we now have almost 20 participants with

diverse mentors from across the global organization. The program continues to help accelerate the development of our future leaders throughout our organization.

In 2022, we also launched our new women’s resource group – Manitowoc Leans In. The mission of this employee resource group is to build a community and empower women within Manitowoc.
